Question:

68 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when an area aid application will be processed for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo and payment made in view of the fact she satisfies all the necessary conditions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2107/00]

The 1999 area aid application for the person named has been fully processed.

The person named was paid the 60% advance of £479.30 under the 1999 suckler cow premium scheme on 1 November 1999 and £42.54 under the Euro-compensation for the 1999 suckler cow premium scheme on 20 December 1999.

Her entitlement under the 1999 cattle headage scheme will issue to her within the next seven days.

Question:

69 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason for the delay in having payment made under the ERAD scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [2109/00]

Appropriate TB reactor grants issued to the person in question on 19 January 2000. His hardship grant application is being examined and will be processed for payment by the district veterinary office on receipt of written confirmation from his creamery that he complies with the terms and conditions relating to milk supply.
