135 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has considered a submission made by a group (details supplied) in County Dublin for permission to open a multi-denominational school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3819/00]

I understand that the group referred to by the Deputy has signalled to my Department its intention to seek recognition for a new multi-denominational school. However, no formal application has been received to date.
