168 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Finance the cost and progress of the district veterinary office in Tipperary; when the building will be completed and occupied; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3991/00]

Minister of State at the Department of Finance (Mr. Cullen):

Construction of the new district veterinary office in Tipperary town, at a total cost of £2.25 million, is well advanced. It is expected that the building will be completed in October this year and will be occupied as soon as possible thereafter.
