196 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the plans, if any, he has to relocate a number of health service agencies from Dublin to the regions as part of the decentralisation plan; and, if so, the agencies which will be relocated. [4038/00]
As the Deputy is aware, my colleague the Minister for Finance announced in this Budget Statement the Government's intention to proceed with a new and extensive programme of decentralisation. I understand that the Minister is currently examining proposals which it is hoped will be brought to Government shortly. The question of the relocation of any bodies under my aegis will be considered in this context.
