Question:

199 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the waiting list for genetic testing for hereditary disorders. [4041/00]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): I propose to take Questions Nos. 198 and 199 together.
Genetic testing for hereditary disorders is provided by the National Medical Genetics Centre, located on the campus of Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin.
The information requested by the Deputy is not routinely collected by my Department and I have, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the hospital to furnish him with the information which he requested.
