Question:

221 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the amount of expenditure by each of the health boards and voluntary and public hospitals on MRI scanning in each of the years from 1995 to 1999; and the individual to whom payments were made in each case. [4231/00]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

The information requested by the Deputy is not routinely collected by my Department. However, I have asked the health boards and voluntary hospitals to investigate this matter and respond directly to the Deputy, as a matter of urgency.
