Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Ulick Burke – the need to approve funding for the extension and refurbishment and provision of off road parking at Kiltiernan national school, County Galway; (2) Deputy Durkan – the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 245 of 8 February 2000 in relation to a dispute regarding lands at Shankill in light of a previous reply to Parliamentary Question No. 346 of 26 January 2000; (3) Deputy Michael Kitt – the question of re-opening Ballinasloe swimming pool, County Galway; (4) Deputy Jim Higgins – the need for the Minister for Health and Children to grant the appeal for a licence for a pharmacy in Knock; (5) Deputy Michael Higgins – the request for support from the Galway refugee support group for funding for the office co-ordinator in the Galway-Mayo region; (6) Deputy O'Sullivan – the action the Minister for Foreign Affairs is taking to highlight the case of Andrei Rabitsky and other human rights abuses in Chechnya; (7) Deputy Kenny – the issue of school facilities at St. Anthony's special school, Castlebar, County Mayo.

The matters raised by Deputies O'Sullivan, Michael Kitt, Ulick Burke and Kenny have been selected for discussion.
