265 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the reason for the delay in approving a voluntary housing scheme (details supplied) in Enniscorthy, County Wexford; and if the matter will be treated as urgent in view of the fact the builder is waiting to commence the project. An application for a loan for this rental subsidy scheme project in Enniscorthy was received in my Department from Wexford County Council on 24 January, 2000. The application is under technical examination in my Department and a decision will be made as soon as possible.
