Question:283 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the position in regard to the restoration of the Real Tennis Court, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2; if she will confirm that, following the advice offered by the Office of the Attorney General in August 1999, the Office of Public Works has not undertaken any work at the site pending investigation of the Commissioners for Charitable Donations and Bequests opinion that the proposed conversion was in breach of the deed of trust of 1939 between the donor, the Earl of Iveagh, and the State; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
