114 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the discussion, if any, she has had with the former chief executive of Aer Lingus prior to or since his resignation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4401/00]
I met the former chief executive twice, once after his appointment 16 months ago when I wished him well in his new role and once at a social event sponsored by the company six months ago.
I have not spoken, written or communicated with the former chief executive otherwise either before or since his resignation but intend to do so shortly to thank him for his distinguished service to the airline and the country.
