196 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the condition of the Kyle national school, Kyle, Youghal, County Cork; his views on whether the old school building needs to be replaced; the plans, if any, he has in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An application from the management authorities of Kyle national school will be dealt with as quickly as possible by my Department having regard to the large number of school building projects on hand within my Department.

197 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Education and Science the position with the request for approval to tarmac the inside and outside school yard of Sacred Heart boys national school, Ballygall, Dublin 11; when work will be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4790/00]

An application from the management authorities of Sacred Heart boys national school, Ballygall, Dublin 11 for improvement works to the school is being dealt with as quickly as possible by my Department having regard to the large number of school building projects on hand within my Department.
