226 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Education and Science when a grant will be approved for a gymnasium for the Holy Rosary College, Mountbellew Ballinasloe, County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5551/00]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

The question of providing a PE facility at Holy Rosary College, Mountbellew, will be considered as part of an application for an extension to the school.

This application is under active consideration at present and will be dealt with as soon as possible.
