Vol. 515 No. 2

Order of Business (Resumed)

I know the Chair's sense of tolerance and understanding will allow me to finish my question. Regarding the forestry incentives presented to Brussels last August, will the Taoiseach have a word with his Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources to point out—

This is not about legislation and the Deputy is not in order.

—the great uncertainty there is. A presentation was made to Brussels—

The question is not in order.

I hope my question is in order. Under the powers allocated to committees it is in order for a committee to send legislation back to the House. As the Minister's announcement removes one-third of the legislation which the Select Committee on Heritage and the Irish Language was dealing with, I give notice that I am considering calling an emergency meeting of this committee to send back the legislation. If we do so, will the new broadcasting legislation be on next week's agenda?

On broadcasting? There is only one Bill and it is before the Select Committee at present.
