Vol. 515 No. 5

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Question:

71 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if an appointment for an urgent hip replacement operation will be made for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 8; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6495/00]

The scheduling of surgical procedures is the responsibility, in the first instance, of the hospital concerned.

The Deputy should therefore, ask the chief executive officer of the hospital concerned to investigate the matter and to reply directly to him.
