100 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Defence if his attention has been drawn to the fact that transport which was guaranteed to the soldiers at Camp Muckno, Castleblayney, to bring them to Monaghan is being removed on 1 March 2000; the steps, if any, he has taken to rectify the situation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. On the closure of Castleblayney military post in September 1998 and the relocation of personnel to Monaghan Barracks, arrangements were made to provide military transport for personnel between Castleblaney and Monaghan Barracks for a limited period, with the arrangements to be subject to review. The service will continue pending this review.
