Vol. 516 No. 6

Written Answers. - Visa Applications.

Liz McManus

Question:

348 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he has received an application sent in August 1999 for a student visa for a person (details supplied) in County Wicklow; the response, if any, he will issue to this applicant who is the daughter of an Irish citizen; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8746/00]

Having reviewed this application I am prepared to grant the applicant permission to remain. The immigration division of my Department will be in contact with the applicant in the near future to formally convey this decision and to set out the conditions attached to the permission to remain.
