166 Mr. Yates asked the Taoiseach the annual statistics in each of the past five years up to 1999 for the volume and value of sales of fruit and vegetables, based on domestic output figures and imports; and the figures, if any, he has for roadside sales of fruit or vegetables. [8366/00]

The following tables show the value and volume of sales of fruit and vegetables for the past five years. The figures for 1999 are preliminary estimates. There are no figures available for roadside sales for fruit and vegetables.
