Vol. 517 No. 1

Written Answers. - Orthodontic Service.

John Perry

Question:

139 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 301 of 23 February 1999, his attention has been drawn to the fact that the person (details supplied) has not received orthodontic treatment; the reason for the delay; if he will be called immediately; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9217/00]

As the provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in County Sligo is the statutory responsibility of the North-Western Health Board, I have asked the chief executive officer of the North-Western Health Board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
