94 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Public Enterprise if the report and conclusions of the review into the Tuskar Rock air tragedy in 1968 between her Department and the United Kingdom authorities is completed; and, if so, when it will be published. [9051/00]
The report on the review of the files relating to this accident is nearing completion. I expect the report to be completed within a matter of weeks. It is my intention to make this report public.
The original report published in 1970 into this accident comprised 40 pages with more than 130 pages of appendices. The Deputy will appreciate, therefore, that a considerable volume of material containing thousands of documents held in my Department, spanning the 30 years since the accident, has been reviewed, including material presented by the UK authorities which contained several hundred pages of reports.
