99 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources when he will introduce teleworking operations into the mainstream public service employments under his aegis in accordance with the commitment given by the Government in its Programme for Prosperity and Fairness; and if he will make a statement on the changes required in each of the agencies under his aegis to fulfil this commitment by the Government. I will shortly initiate a review of the measures required to facilitate the introduction of teleworking operations in the public service employments under my aegis. The results of this review will inform the development of a teleworking policy for implementation by 2002, in keeping with the commitment given by Government in the Programme for Prosperity and Fairness.
