130 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary will be paid the REP scheme organic payment; when the payment will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9845/00]
The person concerned applied for supplementary measure six, organic farming, on 27 January 2000 when an amended agri-environmental plan detailing the organic status of the holding was received in my Department. Payment for supplementary measure six is made retrospectively at the end of each applicant's recording year. The issue of payment in respect of this measure, for the period January-June 2000, will, therefore, arise after 1 July 2000 when the person's current recording year ends.
