247 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if an offer in respect of a company (details supplied) was made available to Údarás na Gaeltachta; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [9593/00]
I understand from Údarás na Gaeltachta that a proposal regarding the sale of the company's plant and equipment to an tÚdarás as outlined by the Deputy was not submitted at any time to the organisation. My Department, in conjunction with an tÚdarás, is examining the matter of the purchase of the plant and equipment, buildings and site in the context of the future development of that Gaeltacht area.
