77 Mr. Spring asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the out come of discussions between officials of her Department and representatives of the Federation of Aerospace Enterprises in Ireland; and if her Department will support the setting up of an international training centre for the sector. Officials from my Department recently met representatives of the Federation of Aerospace Enterprises in Ireland to discuss its report A Strategy to Develop Aerospace Enterprise In Ireland. The FAEI provided certain clarifications in relation to the main recommendations in the report, that is, the establishment of a national aerospace directorate and a national centre for aviation skills. My Department is considering the matter further in the light of these clarifications.
