Vol. 517 No. 5

Written Answers. - Departmental Investigations.

Michael Ring

Question:

165 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science if a person can be present when the Department's inspectorate investigates the precise nature of the special support required by a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [10300/00]

As I indicated in my reply to Question No. 261 of 23 March 2000, my Department's inspectorate is investigating the precise nature of the support required by the child in question in order to assist his educational development. As part of this process, my Department's inspector will consult with the parents of the child in question.
