Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Flanagan – the waiting lists for treatment at Tullamore General Hospital; (2) Deputy Seán Ryan – the urgent need for additional classrooms for September 2000 for Balscadden national school, County Dublin; (3) Deputy Moloney – the need to include Portarlington, County Laois, in the plans for decentralisation; (4) Deputy Coveney – the level of PRSI contributions required to qualify for dental and other benefits; (5) Deputy Naughten – the need to approve funding for a language unit in County Roscommon; (6) Deputy Ring – the numbers refused unemployment benefit or assistance on grounds of not genuinely seeking work; (7) Deputy Perry – the destruction of dunes and the removal of trees in a special area of conservation at Classicbawn castle and estate, Mullaghmore, County Sligo; (8) Deputy Noonan – the suspension of students attending an architectural technology course at the Limerick Institute of Technology; (9) Deputy Fitzgerald – the urgent need to review parental leave legislation following an EU decision; (10) Deputy Stanton – the need to provide grant aid to Cork County Council to enable it to finalise the upgrading of Fota road prior to the Irish Open Golf Championship.

The matters raised by Deputies Flanagan, Coveney, Seán Ryan and Noonan have been selected for discussion.
