Question:209 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance when the Office of Public Works will be in a position to carry out house improvements at a Garda residence (details supplied) in County Cork. [10843/00]

The Garda authorities have recently authorised expenditure for a variety of site works to the rear of Boherbue Garda station and residence. Arrangements are now being made to have a contractor on site without delay and it is expected that the work will be completed within a month.
