241 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the proposals, if any, he has to ensure that all health boards publish their waiting lists every quarter so that information can be compared and models of better practice developed. [10633/00]
In-patient hospital waiting lists are collected by my Department on a quarterly basis by health board, hospital and specialty. These figures are collated by my Department and are published on a quarterly basis. Relative performances across agencies and specialties can be compared and performance targets set on the basis of this information.
