277 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the efforts of a community (details supplied) in Dublin 17 to develop a rehab unit for drug users have been thwarted for lack of funding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

The provision of drug services in the Dublin area is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority. I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the authority and have asked that a response be issued directly to him regarding this matter.
