431 Mr. Flood asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to an application from a school (details supplied) in Dublin 24 for resources to resurface the schools playground and footpaths and to provide palisade fencing around the perimeter of the school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

Where an application has been made by a primary school for works to be undertaken, it will be dealt with as quickly as possible having regard to the large volume of such applications being processed by my Department at present.

The authorities of the school referred to by the Deputy will be contacted about the matter in due course.
