112 Mr. Naughten asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the number of EU Directives which are currently outstanding and have yet to be implemented by her Department through regulation or legislation; the timescale for implementing these directives; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The current position is contained in the following table. This shows 41 directives for implementation; 16 of these are currently behind schedule and all of these 16 are due to be implemented before the end of this year.
