Question:116 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will pay arrears of a REP scheme grant to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim. [11147/00]

The fourth year application from the person named was chosen at ran dom for a pre-payment inspection. Deficiencies were identified in his agri-environmental plan which required the submission of an amended plan, and the amended plan was received on 21 February 2000. The amended plan has been examined and applications for fourth and fifth year payments will now be processed.
