101 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the proposals, if any, she has to introduce grant assistance for homeowners whose houses have shown levels of radon gas concentration above the reference level which is deemed safe. [11370/00]
I refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 51 on 15 February 2000. As I mentioned in that reply, the Government is not in a position to provide direct financial assistance in the current year to householders for radon remediation measures. However, I am keeping this matter under constant review.
