187 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will outline the current status of the nationwide study of public environmental awareness carried out on his behalf by a company (details supplied). [13918/00]
On 4 April 2000 I published the results of the research commissioned by my Department into public attitudes and actions towards the environment. The research was conducted as part of a new environmental awareness campaign and will provide a benchmark for measuring the impact of the campaign on an ongoing basis.
