Vol. 519 No. 4

Written Answers. - Land Transfer.

Michael Creed

Question:

113 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the Offices of the Land Commission have received correspondence recently regarding transfer of lands (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will ensure that this matter is concluded as soon as possible as the delay is preventing the sale of a property. [14034/00]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that there is an application under schedule No. 93320 which vests a number of lands in the name of the applicant mentioned by the Deputy, including a portion of lands shown as plan 52 on the Land Registry maps. This schedule will be completed shortly. However, it is not clear that this plan 52 on the Land Registry map is the property referred to by the Deputy.

If the Deputy can forward a map identifying the property which is the subject of his inquiry, or can supply other details, I will arrange to check the position further.
