33 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when his response to the Agri-Food 2010 report will be made; the nature of the consultation process being undertaken; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13752/00]
The 2010 committee report was presented to me on 24 March. I am undertaking a round of consultations on the report's findings and recommendations. My Department has already invited a range of representative organisations, including the social partners, to provide detailed written responses to the report. Seminars to discuss and analyse the report in detail will be organised in the near future. The consultation process should be complete in June. At that stage, it is my intention to formulate a comprehensive response and plan of action to the various recommendations and findings in the report.
