97 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children the guidelines in place for regulating the type of material placed on his departmental websites; the further guidelines to regulate the links included on the website; and if the guidelines in this regard include party political or commercial material. My Department only places information relevant to departmental business on its website. This information includes press releases, departmental policy documentation and information, customer services information and statistics in relation to health care. The Department of Health and Children only links to other Irish health-related sites, statutory agencies and international organisations such as the World Health Organisation, European Union and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Apart from links to directories there are no links to party-political or commercial organisations on the website.
