82 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will arrange home help for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow who is 61 years of age and needs assistance in caring for his mother who is 91 years old; if an official of the South Eastern Health Board will call to the family home to determine requirements; and the way in which his Department can assist in this case. The provision of home help service to a person in the Carlow area is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board.

I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to examine this case as a matter of urgency and respond directly to the Deputy.
