Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will consider the two sets of recommendations, the final comments and the contents of a report (details supplied) on the drugs crisis; if he will respond to each of the points raised; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have just received the report in question. Since the provision of services for drug misusers in the Cherry Orchard-Ballyfermot area is a matter for the South Western Area Health Board in the first instance, I have referred the report to the Eastern Regional Health Authority for attention by the board. I have also asked the authority to respond directly to the Deputy.
