Vol. 520 No. 2

Written Answers. - Cardiac Services.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

121 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Kildare, currently a patient of the Mater Hospital, will receive bypass surgery; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15642/00]

The responsibility for the provision of services at the Mater Hospital now rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate this matter and to reply directly to the Deputy.
