Question:

161 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if she has received any submissions from the local community regarding the future use and access, as a public amenity, in respect of Donadea Castle and buildings in County Kildare; if her attention has been drawn to the historical significance of these structures; her plans, if any, for the future in this regard; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 160 and 161 together.

I refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 261 of 1 February 2000. The position remains as outlined on that occasion.
