33 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the number of archaeologists who have taken up temporary positions with Dúchas since these positions were advertised in mid-February 2000; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [15318/00]

No appointments have been made yet. Officials of my Department have completed the shortlisting of the large number of applicants and interviews have been arranged for Tuesday and Wednesday, 21 and 22 June.
