190 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when it is expected that a decision will be made on an application for a certificate of naturalisation in respect of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 8; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15881/00]

Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue):

The application for a certificate of naturalisation in respect of the person referred to by the Deputy is in the final stages of the process. I expect to be in a position to advise both the applicant and the Deputy of my decision in the case in the near future.
