Vol. 520 No. 4

Written Answers. - Departmental Properties.

Sean Fleming

Question:

86 Mr. Fleming asked the Minister for Finance the area of land he has licensed to The Heath GAA at The Heath, County Laois; and the conditions in this regard. [15971/00]

The area of land licensed to The Heath GAA is approximately five acres. General conditions apply with a specific provision that the licence is subject to all existing rights of common and to any rights of grazing or exercising animals that may exist over the said lands. The club is currently in negotiation with the Office of Public Works to license a further area for their use. Similar conditions would apply to any such licence.
