Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Kirk – that the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources clarify the jurisdiction position in relation to the mooted abortion clinic on a ship off the Irish coast; (2) Deputy Ulick Burke – the urgent need to address the serious inconsistencies in the administration of the farm development services scheme in County Galway; (3) Deputy Durkan – the treatment of persons transferring from disabled persons maintenance allowance to disability allowance; (4) Deputy Matt Brennan – the delay in commencement of work on a one-stop-shop in Tubbercurry, County Sligo; (5) Deputy Gregory – the threatened loss of teachers in two national schools (details supplied) which serve the drugs task force area of Inchicore, Dublin 8; (6) Deputy Ring – the need to introduce a grant scheme for organisations set up to help track down elderly Irish people living abroad and to assist them in returning home; (7) Deputy Barrett – the refusal to grant carer's allowance to persons who are in receipt of contributory old age pensions; (8) Deputy Coveney – the need for investment in and development of Cork Airport.

The matters raised by Deputies Coveney, Matt Brennan, Ring and Barrett have been selected for discussion.
