John McGuinness

Question:

324 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress, if any, in relation to the revised proposals for Church Hill national school, Cuffesgrange, County Kilkenny, which had to be put forward given the poor conditions of the present building; if he will include a plan to improve the area for set down and collection at the school as part of any new proposal; and if a decision in the matter can be expedited in view of the urgent need for the new project. [17564/00]

My Department's building unit has recently received revised proposals for a building project from the management authorities of Church Hill national school, Cuffesgrange, County Kilkenny. These proposals are currently being examined and the management authorities of the school will be kept informed of developments.

Liam Aylward

Question:

325 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 297 of 13 June 2000, he will have arrangements made to supply a more comprehensive reply to Deputy Aylward for the interested parties; and if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the reply given is identical to the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 214 of 20 April 2000. [17566/00]

My Department's building unit has recently informed the management authorities of the school in question to instruct the design team to invite tenders for the works.
