100 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of children who have been taken into care, who have been accommodated in bed and breakfast and hospital beds in 1999 and 2000 to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17872/00]

The information requested by the Deputy is not readily available in the detail required in my Department. My Department has requested it from the health boards and I will forward it to the Deputy as soon as possible.
