30 Ms Coughlan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the consultations which have taken place with the social partners and other interested bodies on the Agri-Food 2010 report; when his response to the report will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The 2010 committee report was presented to me on 24 March. I am currently engaged in a round of consultations on the report's findings and recommendations. A range of representative organisations, including the social partners, have been asked to provide detailed written responses to the report. In addition, two consultative seminars have been held to discuss the report's findings. I have also established a working group of senior officials in my Department to consider the report and to draw up a detailed action plan. This process should be completed in the next few weeks, and it is then my intention to present a comprehensive response to the report, and a plan of action for implementation, to Government.
