530 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children the progress made with regard to the application for funding for the Older Women's Network; when a decision will be made; the amount of moneys allocated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19390/00]
My Department received an application for a grant from the 2000 health and children allocation of national lottery funds on 30 June 2000 from the organisation referred to by the Deputy.
The organisation is seeking funding towards the employment of a development worker and to continue the development of the network at local and national levels. The application is under consideration for a grant from my Department and the organisation will be informed as soon as a decision has been made.
