Vol. 523 No. 1

Written Answers. - Hospitals Building Programme.

Austin Currie

Question:

566 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Health and Children the timetable for the redevelopment of James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15; if funding will be provided for the full development as originally planned; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19904/00]

The responsibility for the redevelopment of James Connolly Memorial Hospital now rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
