Question:941 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of refugees in Magee Barracks, County Kildare, as at 26 September 2000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20588/00]
Written Answers. - Refugee Statistics.
On 26 September there were 163 asylum seekers accommodated at Magee Barracks, County Kildare. On this date there were also 40 Kosovar refugees accommodated on this site. Subsequently, 36 of these were repatriated, and the four remaining refugees are accommodated by the Refugee Agency of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
